DREW MORRIS
THORNTON CITY COUNCIL, WARD 4
Meet Drew
I’m Drew Morris—a Marine Corps Veteran, small business owner, husband of 18 years, father of two, and 15-year resident of Thornton. I’m running to represent Ward 4 on City Council with one goal: to serve you, not politics. I believe in shaping a city that’s safe, thriving, and built for the future—with strong neighborhoods, successful local businesses, and a high quality of life for everyone who calls Thornton home.
My priorities reflect what matters most to our community: supporting well-equipped police and fire departments, championing small businesses, and improving infrastructure and traffic flow. I’m also focused on managing smart, responsible growth, reimagining the Eastlake Business Corridor, and creating an amenity-rich city with great parks, trails, dining, and gathering spaces.
I believe in leading through collaboration, empowerment, and action—because that’s how we turn good ideas into real solutions. I’m committed to listening actively, engaging with my neighbors, and working across differences to solve the challenges we face together.
You can count on me to show up, speak up, and follow through—not just with words, but with action—every single day.
Let’s build the future of Thornton, together.

A Flourishing Thornton Starts Here
A flourishing Thornton is more than just a place to live—it’s a place to thrive. It’s where vibrant local businesses fuel the economy, where families enjoy safe neighborhoods, and where parks and public spaces bring people together. It’s a community with great schools, accessible amenities, and opportunities for all ages. Most importantly, it’s a place where people feel connected, heard, and invested in shaping a brighter future. That’s the kind of Thornton we can build—together.
