DREW MORRIS

THORNTON CITY COUNCIL, WARD 4

Meet Drew

I’m Drew Morris—a Marine Corps veteran, small business owner, and proud 15-year Thornton resident. I’m running for City Council in Ward 4 to serve you, not politics, and to help shape a city that’s safe, thriving, and built for the future.

My priorities are rooted in what matters most to our community: supporting well-equipped police and fire departments, championing small businesses, improving infrastructure and addressing traffic, managing smart growth, and reimagining the old Eastlake Business Corridor. I also believe in creating an amenity-rich city—one with great parks, trails, dining, and local attractions that bring people together and improve quality of life for everyone who calls Thornton home.

A Flourishing Thornton Starts Here

A flourishing Thornton is more than just a place to live—it’s a place to thrive. It’s where vibrant local businesses fuel the economy, where families enjoy safe neighborhoods, and where parks and public spaces bring people together. It’s a community with great schools, accessible amenities, and opportunities for all ages. Most importantly, it’s a place where people feel connected, heard, and invested in shaping a brighter future. That’s the kind of Thornton we can build—together.
